The artist is a native of Spain, born in 1972, and attended the Universidad de Bellas Artes Cuenca. He has professionally exhibited his artwork since 1990, including shows at the Manuel Ojeda and Luroa Art Gallery in Las Palmas de Gran Canarias, the ARCO in Madrid. His work been exhibited in Germany, France, and Peru, and his art is included in the collections of the Centro Atlantico de Arte, Moderno, the Colegio de Arquitectos, and AMP.

Ortega is particularly well-known for his t-shirt depictions “taken from the street” that mingle people and urban context.

The artist, currently living in the western United States, received his fine-art training at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and later expanded his education to include technical illustrations, airbrush, commercial and graphic art, as well as computer expertise. Employed as an illustrator in the corporate world for the majority of his professional life, he began — in the early 2000's — to more and more cater his work toward a genuinely receptive gay community.

Over a lifetime, the East-Coast artist has divided her professional talents between writing and graphics design for all types of advertising agencies—the good, the bad and the greedy.

Ms. Jamroz describes the best of her current computer-generated artwork as erotic and exotic.

At present, Deana enjoys the freedom that less restrictive audiences afford her rather mad-cap, zany muse.
